From diagnosis to treatment, our team offers a wide range of medical oncology services.

Our Services

We’re here for you from start to finish.

Consultation

We prioritize your time by consulting with you virtually to discuss the options for your pet, before starting any treatment or diagnostics.

Diagnostics

We provide advanced diagnostics for cancer patients, closely resembling what is available for humans

Treatment

We offer a wide range of chemotherapy protocols, electrochemotherapy and immunotherapies available in veterinary oncology.

Clinical Trials & Research

Paired with academics and other facilities, your pet may be able to partake in the latest care available via clinical trials

Available Treatment Options

Chemotherapy

Protocols to treat the cancer at the systemic level — commonly used in pets with immune-cell cancers, or in high-risk solid tumours of the skin and organs. Side-effect rates are lower in dogs and cats than in humans, so we can provide an improved quality of life and strong tumour control.

Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy with the melanoma vaccine is the most common and widely available immunotherapy in veterinary oncology. Other immunotherapies are not yet available in Canada.

Tumour-Specific Electroporation

For a remaining tumour site or the physical tumour, this procedure applies short electrical pulses to the region alongside a chemotherapy treatment. The pulses improve chemotherapy penetration and trap exposure directly in the cancer cells. Patients are sedated briefly for the procedure.

Steps to Guide You

Speak with our oncologist from the comfort of your home before making any plans.

We’re here for you from start to finish.

1

Referral

Your veterinarian submits a referral through our referral portal. Our team triages every case individually, in priority of urgency — so the pets who need us most are seen first.

2

Virtual Consultation

You’re scheduled for a 45-minute virtual consultation with our oncologist, from the comfort of your home and before making any plans. Prepare your questions in advance to make the most of your time together.

3

Your Plan & Next Steps

We provide any recommended diagnostic steps and a clear estimate for services. Once you’ve reviewed everything, schedule any time with our client care team by text, email, or phone — and we begin your pet’s cancer journey together.
